our lads arrivin' on the train,
come to scatter bourgeois brains.
lasses breakin' all the laws,
their patriarchal supportership's flawed.
it's derby day,
come to see the red and white play.
we'll drink through the night,
and go home after the fights.
PATH is shakin' off the rails,
we sing our songs over (their) fascist hails!
can't see the pitch in a venue for baseball,
come see the match at our footie cathedral.
it's derby day,
come to see the red and white play.
someone's gonna have to pay,
your boys will get flayed!
GET FUCKED
it's derby day,
come to see the red and white play,
someone's gonna have to pay,
your boys will get flayed!
LOL....the band and I might only agree on labor issues,lol...I dunno, but THEY HAVE A REALLY GREAT SOUND. I love the hardass/ gruff vocals paired with incredible melodies. Just really awesome sounding stuff that is mindful of the working class and issues pertaining to labor. Stumbled on em by accident and just dug the sound. East Bay Working Class
Powerful in every way, this DC hardcore group's first full-length is the siren song to having no home as a person of color—in punk, in society, in America. It could not have arrived at a more appropriate time. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jul 15, 2016
Guitars so jagged you could cut yourself on them and sneering spoken/sung lyrics make “Red Dirt” a post-punk powerhouse. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 3, 2023
