ain't no cash in academia,
what's an egghead to do?
worked all day on gang today,
have a couple of brews
he's gonna be the one that writes the books
when he's choppin' up ice with hooks,
he's gonna be the one that gets the checks,
with his nose buried in texts,
and you will never understand
the things the union's got planned
working class transplant, fights for those who can't!
you will finally see
working class transplant, he's our working man!
what he's meant to be
ain't one to trust the fuckin media
that shit ain't true
worked all day on gang today
he's got nothing to prove.
he's gonna be the one that writes the books
when he's choppin' up ice with hooks,
he's gonna be the one to get the checks,
with his nose buried in texts.
and you will never understand
the things the union's got planned
working class transplant, fights for those who can't!
you will finally see
working class transplant, he's our working man!
what he's meant to be

So Im not sure how this band got past me,but Im glad I finally took a peak at how they sound. Great Oi/ Punk from another top notch Boston band. Harsh and angry ( in all the besy ways) this band knocks it outta the park. The price for this offering and the " Tape 2" make picking up The Stance's stuff a no-brainer. File this im Badass Boston Oi to wreck shit by!" East Bay Working Class
Powerful in every way, this DC hardcore group's first full-length is the siren song to having no home as a person of color—in punk, in society, in America. It could not have arrived at a more appropriate time. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jul 15, 2016
Dead Cross, Retox, and Qui members dish out subversive hardcore with an indignant smirk; come for the riffs, stay for the synth experiments. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 31, 2024

I never dug single sided records because it seems a waste of vinyl but holy hell is this slab fucking worth it. 3 amazing songs that leave you wanting more. The female vox on the 3rd song add a lot to the whole package. So glad to have grabbed this, and looking forward to the physical copy of the next release. tall trees
